Seth Rollins Finally Reveals Real Reason Behind Forming The Vision In WWE
Seth Rollins is not the leader of The Vision anymore.
In fact, the faction does not even have its initial line-up intact due to injuries. For a couple of months, Bron Breakker was sidelined due to an injury and returned only at WrestleMania 42.
Meanwhile, Bronson Reed has been ruled out indefinitely after suffering a distal bicep tear during a live taping of Monday Night Raw in late February.
While the other two members, Logan Paul and Austin Theory, are the WWE Tag Team Champions, they have not extensively contributed towards the ascension of the group.
Seth Rollins began putting together The Vision after WrestleMania 41, where Paul Heyman betrayed both Roman Reigns and CM Punk to align with ‘The Visionary.’
On the Raw after WrestleMania, Breakker speared Reigns, revealing himself as the first member of the group. At Saturday Night’s Main Event in May 2025, Bronson Reed joined the group after helping Rollins and Breakker defeat CM Punk and Sami Zayn in a tag team match.
Seth Rollins recently sat down with WWE commentator Michael Cole, where he revealed his reason behind forming The Vision.
Maybe a little bit of insecurity. You know, I looked at the landscape, and I was starting to, kind of, pile up enemies—CM Punk, Roman Reigns—when you have Roman Reigns, you have the entire Bloodline. So, there was a lot of people who were sort of eyeballing what I was doing, what I was saying; they didn’t like it, and so I felt like at that stage, there were a lot of, pardon the pun, visions of what the future of the company could or would or should look like.
And to be honest with you, I just don’t trust Roman Reigns. I certainly don’t trust CM Punk. I don’t trust either of them to be kind of figureheads and the leaders, and so I felt like I was the best person for that job. I felt like I was in a unique position where I had to kind of take care of those guys, but then I needed to insulate myself on the backside of that.
And also, I wanted to not just do this thing for me, but to pass it along to the next generation, and for me, Bron Breakker was the perfect fit for that. [2:43 onwards]
Seth Rollins To Face Bron Breakker At WWE Backlash
While Seth Rollins had his ‘vision’ planned out, things did not necessarily go according to it.
On the Raw episode after Crown Jewel in October 2025, he was excommunicated from The Vision after Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked him in the ring. Paul Heyman, too, chose them over Rollins.
The attack was a way to write off Rollins from the storyline due to a legitimate injury he suffered at Crown Jewel during his match against Cody Rhodes.
Rollins finally returned at the 2026 Elimination Chamber PLE on February 28, where he attacked Logan Paul, who had joined the faction following Rollins’ expulsion.
Breakker, too, returned at WrestleMania 42, where he cost Seth Rollins his singles match against Gunther.
After weeks of back-and-forth action, bth wrestlers are scheduled to compete in a singles match at Backlash on May 9 in Tampa, Florida.
