Seth Rollins Challenged To Huge Title Match In NXT
Seth Rollins ascended to the top of WWE once again at Night of Champions when he became WWE World Heavyweight Champion but that gold title belt might as well be a target on Rollins’ back.
Rollins had last held gold at a world title level in WWE back in 2019 when he was Universal Champion – a year before Roman Reigns took that title for himself. Due to Reigns’ dominance as WWE Universal Champion and because of his reduced schedule, Triple H introduced a brand new world title to the brand that didn’t pick up Reigns in the draft.
With Roman Reigns remaining on SmackDown, that meant Raw got the new title and it was Seth Rollins and AJ Styles who battled their way past 10 other WWE Superstars to have the chance to face off for the gold in Saudi Arabia.
Seth Rollins came out on top in that battle and on Raw in Hartford, CT he faced his first challenger in The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest. Rollins one an enthralling contest that left fans wondering about the future of Judgment Day following dissension between Priest and Finn Balor.
For champions, however, trouble is never far away, and on NXT television Bron Breakker issued a stunning challenge to Rollins to meet him for the title on the white and gold brand.
OH. MY. GOD.@bronbreakkerwwe just challenged @WWERollins to a match for the World Heavyweight Championship 😱😱😱#WWENXTpic.twitter.com/euCaWI0Ocy

Seth Rollins is yet to respond to the challenge and it is unknown where any match between the two stars would take place. The next NXT pay-per-view scheduled is The Great American Bash on July 30th so it’s likely any bout between Rollins and Breakker would take place on NXT television before then.
