Seth Rollins’ real-life animosity towards CM Punk has been widely explored.

Rollins was a budding wrestler during Punk’s initial stint with WWE, with the latter even taking The Visionary under his wings.

The relationship took a turn for the worse when Punk quit the promotion in 2014 and publicly criticized its working and structure. Not taking kindly to the criticism, Rollins would often call him out, often on social media.

Punk later returned to the company in 2023, following which the two superstars have even feuded, bringing their real-life tensions to the fore.

During a recent appearance on Club Shay Shay, Seth Rollins was asked if his relationship with Punk had somewhat mended. The 39-year-old minced no words while claiming that ill feelings continued to prevail.

No. I wouldn’t say so. There is obviously some sort of working relationship, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to go out there and have matches, but it is so complex.

Seth Rollins Hints At Potential Future Reconciliation With CM Punk

Seth Rollins has made it clear that he is not friends with CM Punk due to the complexity in their relationship.

Nevertheless, he may have given thought to a future wherein they have reconciled, but it will not happen anytime soon.

Maybe, once we’re both away from the business or retired, there might be an opportunity for a reconciliation there. It’s just so hard for me to separate the CM Punk that there is now from the CM Punk that was a really rotten friend to me ten years ago.

Those wounds take time to heal. Whether or not he cares to make the effort to do that, and I care to care if he makes the effort to do that, I don’t know. Neither of us have the time for it at the moment. [H/T: Ringside News]
