Sean Waltman Discusses Why He “F’n Loves” Lex Luger

X-Pac AKA Sean Waltman

Sean Waltman has heaped praise on wrestling legend Lex Luger, in particular for the help was given at the early stage of his career.

In the early-to-mid nineties, Lex Luger was touted by many as the next big thing in professional wrestling. Although the championship credentials never quite followed to the extent of Hulk Hogan who he was expected to move in to the spot of, he still had an extremely successful career.

His actions backstage have also stuck in the mind of one particular superstar, with Sean Waltman recently giving some details in to what ‘The Total Package’ did to help him out during the fledgling stage of his career.

During a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, Sean Waltman opened up on how Lex Luger may have been one of the top stars at the time, but he would go out of his way to help someone out if it helped them keep their foot on the ladder.

Before all of that, I always thought he was a wonderful guy. He was so good to me. From the first time I came on to WWF, I wasn’t making any money. He was one of the guys – like I was getting paid, just wasn’t much. He would take me with him. Let me travel with him, let me stay in his room with him, and he wouldn’t take a dime. F*cking love that guy. Even in WCW when we were together.

During his early days in WWE, Sean Waltman competed as The 1-2-3 Kid, but went on to find further success when joining D-Generation X and becoming X-Pac.

Sean Waltman also opened up on what it would take for him to make a return.
