Saraya Takes Shots At Vince McMahon On AEW Dynamite

Saraya makes her entrance at AEW Grand Slam Dynamite 2022

Speaking for the first time since arriving in the company, Saraya referenced her old boss Vince McMahon on the latest AEW Dynamite.

Fans are still reeling from the arrival of Saraya in All Elite Wrestling. Though she didn’t get physical with the opposition of Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel, ‘The Anti-Diva’ looked formidable regardless.

Fast forward one week, and Saraya is already firing shots. Alongside stating how Baker’s name rhymes with “sh*t”, the former Paige indirectly addressed former WWE boss Vince McMahon. Upon being confronted by Baker and co., Saraya stated how pleased she is to have a new boss:

“I may not have been in AEW very long but I do have eyes and I do have ears. I realise you guys [Baker and co.] like to get up to some funky stuff. Since I talked to Tony [Khan] backstage, It’s so good to finally have a boss that actually listens to me!”

Saraya went on to turn Toni Storm and Serena Deeb’s scheduled championship collision into a Lumberjack match. Storm ultimately retained over ‘The Professor’, putting her away via middle-rope Piledriver.

It’s still unknown if Saraya will ever be cleared to compete in AEW. Reports have stated that she remains on the inactive list after her career-ending neck injury in December 2017. Tony Khan noted on the pre-Dynamite Busted Open Radio that more would be known about her AEW role during the broadcast; that, it seems, didn’t actually happen.
