Roman Reigns References The Rock On WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns took a shot at LA Knight on WWE SmackDown by mocking his “cosplay” promos that sound like The Rock.

A war of words took place between LA Knight and Roman Reigns in the opening segment of the November 3rd episode of WWE SmackDown from Milwaukee, which was taped one week earlier.

It started with LA Knight exuding confidence going into his Crown Jewel match with Reigns saying that he was coming to take everything that Reigns stood for.

When Roman Reigns interrupted the promo, he reminded Knight that he was the Tribal Chief and the Head of the Table. Reigns said he’s advanced this business saying that WWE is a multi-billion dollar company because of him while Knight is setting them back.

LA Knight has often been compared to WWE stars of the past due to his promo style resembling some big names, so Reigns decided to take a shot at Knight as well. Roman Reigns delivered a scathing line referencing his cousin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who Knight is often compared to due to some of his promo verbiage.

“What have you really done over the past couple of months, except get these people to chant your name, and cosplay as a redneck version of my cousin?”

There were more words exchanged after that along with some light shoving, but Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis and WWE referees were there to break it up.
