The longest-reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, Roman Reigns, is arguably the most popular superstar in the promotion and is a definite needle mover for the Stamford-based promotion.

Ever since signing a part-time deal with the promotion, Reigns’ appearances have been far and limited for the WWE Universe, who always wait eagerly to see the Tribal Chief in the ring again.

Reigns hasn’t been seen since the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series last year, where he was part of the team with Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. Tonight, on SmackDown, his next appearance was confirmed on the show.

A big video package was played on the titantron tonight, which confirmed that Roman Reigns has declared for the 2026 Royal Rumble match, and the same was announced by Michael Cole.

Roman hasn’t held a title in the promotion since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL and will be looking to win his first Royal Rumble since 2015 this year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
