Rhea Ripley Breaks Silence After Finally Reuniting With Major Star On WWE SmackDown

Rhea Ripley reunited with a former ally just when she needed it the most.

The Eradicator has suddenly found herself against three strong superstars on SmackDown instead of a lone Jade Cargill. Michin and B-Fab were about to allow The Storm to wreck Mami with her finisher once more before Ripley received some immediate help. Now, the Aussie has spoken up and addressed the unexpected reunion.

Rhea Ripley Expresses Her Gratitude

Mami took to X and posted a reply to a video clip uploaded by WWE. The footage showed the trio of Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab ganging up on The Eradicator, before the music of IYO SKY echoed in the arena.

The Storm exited the ring, leaving her lackeys inside to deal with The Genius of the SKY. The Japanese wrestler made quick work of the duo and bought enough time for Rhea Ripley to join her in the attack. Mami wrote:

I love her! 🥹”

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY got closer despite being rivals for the Women’s World Champion at the beginning of 2025. The two teamed up to oppose the Kabuki Warriors and even won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship as RHIYO.

The duo won the belts on the first anniversary of RAW on Netflix. However, they lost it within just a month when Nia Jax and Lash Legend dethroned them owing to Asuka and Kairi Sane. Interestingly, while it was natural to see IYO SKY come to the rescue of Mami, she doesn’t really have her hands free.

The former Women’s World Champion wants to free Kairi Sane from the clutches of Asuka. Sane was forced to betray SKY by The Empress of Tomorrow, and right now, the 37-year-old is doing Asuka’s bidding against her will. In a recent series of videos, Sane was seen trembling as Asuka had her hair pulled and sent a message to SKY, asking her not to meddle between them.

In response, SKY has asked Sane to snap out of it and that she will help her. It would be interesting to see if Rhea Ripley will join SKY and help her to return the favor.
