Released WWE Star Pays Tribute To Bayley Upon In-Ring Return
A former WWE ally of Bayley has paid tribute to the future Hall of Famer.
For the past decade, Bayley has solidified herself as one of the greatest women’s wrestlers in WWE history.
During her WWE career so far, Bayley has won the Women’s Title four times on the main roster, plus she’s a two-time Tag Team Champion, and a winner of big matches like the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank.
After missing a year of action with a knee injury, Bayley returned at SummerSlam 2022 with Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai in a new group called Damage CTRL. It was the first time Bayley was in a group and led the group, so it was a big part of her career.
Dakota Kai is now a former WWE superstar wrestling as Charlie on the independent scene. During a recent match, Charlie paid tribute to her Damage CTRL ally by hitting a Bayley to Belly move, which is a belly-to-belly suplex.

Bayley Doesn’t Want To Miss WrestleMania Again
A storyline injury took Bayley off the WrestleMania 41 card in 2025, but she is hoping that it doesn’t happen to her again this year.
“I don’t know if it’s nervous or more anxious and a little furious. With Lyra not qualifying for the Chamber and myself not qualifying for the Chamber, I feel like there’s still hope and something we can do as a team. That’s something we’ve been pushing since last WrestleMania, and that opportunity was obviously taken from us.
If it came down to that and we had a chance as a tag team, I think it would be a nice full-circle moment. But I’ve taken a few losses in my day, so I just move on. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. It all depends on how you react to things.”
Next up for Bayley is a huge match on the March 9th edition of Raw.
WWE has announced that IYO SKY, Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, Asuka, Raquel Rodriguez, and Ivy Nile will battle in a Gauntlet Match to decide the No. 1 Contender to Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee.
