AEW is building towards its All In pay-per-view, scheduled to take place in London, England, on August 30.

The World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are very much in the scheme of things, having kick-started a feud with The Dogs’ David Finlay and Clark Connors.

The Canadian duo, who are real-life childhood friends, won their first tag titles together in AEW by defeating FTR at Double Or Nothing in a stipulation match in which, if Cope & Cage lost, they would cease to exist as a tag team.

The Dogs, on the other hand, have taken slow, yet steady strides towards dominating the tag division despite missing Gabe Kidd due to an injury.

On the May 27 taping of Dynamite, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage revisited their time in WWE by giving local fans a 5-second pose. Copeland even distributed disposable cameras among the audience members.

However, before they could begin their posing session, they were viciously attacked by David Finlay and Clark Connors, who set themselves up as the next challengers for the tag team titles.

AEW Wanted To Put Adam Copeland & Christian Cage Against The Young Bucks

At AEW Revolution, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage returned to television after a brief hiatus.

They made their presence felt after the then-Tag Team Champions, FTR, defeated The Young Bucks to retain their belts. After taking out FTR and their manager Stokely, they grabbed the tag titles.

They were then met in the ring by Matt & Nick Jackson, although the Bucks did not do much other than appear standoffish before exiting the squared circle.

While this confrontation occurred two months ago, there might have been a purpose behind it, according to a report by Self Made Sessions.

During a recent episode of their podcast, Self Made Pro revealed that there were plans to feature Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Matt, and Nick Jackson in some form of a plunder match at AEW All In.

I can tell you guys this. The original plan for All In was going to be Bucks and Edge and Christian directly. I always thought FTR were going to be in that match, but it was just going to be Bucks and Edge and Christian in some type of plunder match. [H/T: Ringside News]

It remains to be seen what the tag team title situation is by the time All In arrives, as Cope & Cage vs. Matt & Nick Jackson could still happen. In the meantime, The Young Bucks are scheduled to face The Dogs on the upcoming AEW Collision Summer Blockbuster taping on June 11.
