Surprising Pitch Made For Danhausen’s Mystery Partner At WWE Backlash
An unexpected name has turned up amid Danhausen’s search for a partner for his Backlash bout.
The 35-year-old wrestler found himself in a pickle on WWE SmackDown during a segment featuring The Miz and Kit Wilson.
A few weeks ago, he had ‘cursed’ the duo, which resulted in unpleasant experiences for Miz and Wilson. His last two matches have been against the heel pair, which he won, but not before getting the pyro to mysteriously explode and distract his opponent.
On Friday, The Miz agreed to become Danhausen’s mentor, which prompted Kit Wilson to interrupt them.
Miz’s potential mentees put forward the reasons why he should mentor them and put out their hands for him to choose. The A-lister ultimately chose Danhausen.
As they celebrated, The Miz attacked him from behind. Both he and Wilson continued the attack before he ended it with a Skull Crushing Finale.
In a backstage segment, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis confirmed a tag match between the trio at Backlash on May 9, given that the ‘Very Nice Very Evil’ superstar could find himself a partner.
Boy Meets World Star Hints At Teaming With Danhausen At Backlash
After Nick Aldis agreed to Danhausen’s tag team match demand at Backlash, he went to Twitter and tagged various wrestling legends, offering them money to come out of retirement.
While none of them have yet accepted it, fans have been speculating about their choice of wrestlers, including CM Punk, Mr. Iguana, and John Cena, who recently announced that he would be attending the PLE with a major announcement.
Elsewhere, a Boy Meets World star has thrown their name into the hat as a possible tag partner for the 35-year-old.
Taking to Instagram, Danielle Fischel shared an edited image of herself alongside Danhausen, The Miz, and Kit Wilson, wherein she wore face paint similar to the WWE star. A second image showed him applying his make-up on Fischel’s face during an interaction backstage.
In the caption, the 45-year-old actress wrote, “Just saying, we have history. #daniellehausen.”

Before joining WWE, Danhausen had interviewed Danielle Fischel while gifting her a ‘Daniellehausen’ action figure.
It remains to be seen which personality or wrestler turns up at Backlash on Saturday.

- Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker – Singles Match
- Trick Williams (c) vs. Sami Zayn – United States Championship Match
