Nikki Bella Teases Going After Major WWE Title Upon Return
Nikki Bella is currently out of action due to a serious ankle injury she suffered last month.
While Brie Bella appeared on last week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Nikki hosted a solo episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, where she provided an update on her recovery and answered fan questions from the Bella Army.
Nikki Bella Would Like A Shot At Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship
During the episode, a fan asked Nikki Bellawhich title she would like to pursue aside from the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Bella responded that she would like to go after Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.
Nikki also reminded fans that she has unfinished business with Morgan, referencing their feud last year, which was abruptly cut short due to Morgan’s legitimate shoulder injury.
She added that if she does go after the title, she would ask Paige and Brie’s help to take down Morgan and her Judgment Day allies, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
I always love to think and dream big. So, for me, it would for sure be the Women’s World Championship. And you know, all this time I have right now to lie on my back, ice, and elevate my ankle and be in therapy.
You know me, I’m always, just the wheels start turning, and knowing that Liv just won it and there’s a lot of unfinished business there. And then I was like, “Oh, wait.” You know, and Liv has Judgment Day, and I technically have Paige and Brie.
We can call Team Bella. And I’m like, wait, this sounds all amazing and perfect. So, I would go after that. I would go after Liv’s championship. (From 2:28)
Nikki Bella injured her left ankle during the March 27, 2026, episode of Friday Night SmackDown during an exchange with Charlotte Flair. It happened during her tag team match with Brie Bella against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Nikki Bella couldn’t compete at WrestleMania 42 due to her injured ankle. She was replaced by returning star Paige, who teamed up with Brie Bella to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at the event.
