Nikki Bella Reveals Real Feelings About Becky Lynch’s John Cena Dig

Nikki Bella has broken her silence after she was roasted on WWE Raw by Becky Lynch over her relationship with John Cena.

Becky Lynch came face-to-face with Nikki Bella on Raw, and The Man had a few choice words for the WWE Hall of Famer. Lynch referred to herself and Seth Rollins as the most successful couple in WWE history, before noting that Bella could have once said that about herself.

Nikki Bella was previously engaged to John Cena, with Cena proposing to Bella in the ring after they picked up a win together at WrestleMania 33. However, the course of true love rarely runs smoothly, and soon after, Cena and Bella went their separate ways.

Lynch noted this as she told Bella that she “couldn’t see him anymore” while doing Cena’s signature taunt, which elicited a massive reaction from WWE fans.

Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella revealed how she really felt about the personal dig and admitted she’s now an underdog in the company:

What’s crazy is people are calling it the best promo of the year. Becky burned me, lit me up, and everyone’s saying it’s the best burn of the year. […] But these are the moments we want, right? That burn was funny because I actually love it.

I truly feel that right now, I’m in this underdog era. And I have never been in that underdog era for a really, really long time. And it’s cool to be there because all I have to do to climb up is to keep fighting my way up. […] After that one she hit me with about John, I was like “Oh sh*t.”
