Nia Jax Comments On WWE Return Reports

Nia Jax

Nia Jax has broken her silence after reports said she’s in line for a WWE comeback.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that there had been rumblings that former Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax could be set for a return to WWE. Different sources are said to have noted that her name has been mentioned lately but it remains to be seen if a comeback is in the cards.

Now speaking to Sportskeeda WrestleBinge Nia Jax has discussed the possibility of a WWE return and confirmed that she’s still training in the ring:

“I am, I am training. I’ll train over at D-Von Dudley’s ring. He’s great, and then I go over to Natty and TJ’s, so they run me through some drills and stuff like that. I have matches and that. I’ll get in the ring every now and then with some of my friends like Charlotte and her husband, Manny.”

As far as a return to WWE goes, Nia Jax said she doesn’t have any answers for that as of yet:

“I don’t have the answer. Right now, I’m just hanging out. I’m enjoying being home with my family. I have a new nephew, and I’ve kind of started being obsessed with being in Pilates.”

When was Nia Jax last in WWE?

Nia Jax returned to WWE as a surprise entrant in the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match but that appearance proved to be a one-off and remains her only match since she was released from her contract back in November 2021.

Jax had been a major part of the women’s division during her time in the company, making her name in NXT as a dominant force before moving to the main roster in 2016. Nia Jax became Raw Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 34 when she defeated Alexa Bliss but Bliss got her revenge at Money In The Bank 2018 when she cashed in her briefcase to regain the title from Jax.

Towards the end of her run in the company, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler formed a cohesive unit, winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice.
