New Challengers Emerge for MFT’s WWE Tag Team Titles on SmackDown

The WWE Universe was treated to a new tag team on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown as the show hosted a major tag team turmoil match tonight.

The Stamford-based promotion had announced a number one contender’s match for the WWE tag team championships, which are currently held by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga of the MFT.

The tag team turmoil match saw the return of Los Garza, who made their first appearance in 140 days, and put on a strong showing in the match, reaching the final stage of the tag team turmoil.

Damian Priest and R-Truth emerge victorious on WWE SmackDown

Fraxiom started the bout as they took on Motor City Machine Guns, and after an intense battle between the two, Fraxiom emerged victorious. Los Garza then made their appearance and took Fraxiom out of the match.

They then eliminated Wyatt Sicks from the match and faced Damian Priest and R-Truth in the final stage. The duo put up a good fight against Truth and Priest, but fell short at the final hurdle.

Truth trapped Berto in an STF before it was broken up by Garza. Priest and Truth then hit them with simultaneous South of Heaven Chokeslam and AA to win the match and become number one contenders.
