New AEW Champion Issues An Open Challenge For Collision

AEW fans were treated to a huge surprise last week as former WWE star, Tommaso Ciampa, completed a shocking move to the promotion and made his debut on last week’s Dynamite.

He appeared in a segment where Mark Briscoe announced an open challenge for his TNT Championship and he was confronted by a man from his past.

Brisoce and Ciampa had an iconic rivalry during their time together in ROH earlier in their career, and revisited the same when they faced each other at Collision last week.

Tommaso Ciampa is already a champion in AEW

Ciampa answered Mark Briscoe’s open challenge and proceeded to defeat him for the title and became the TNT Champion during his second ever appearance on AEW television.

Tonight during Dynamite, he revealed that he has decided to continue on Mark Briscoe’s path and announced an open challenege for the championship on Collision later this week.
