MJF Blasts “Delusional” Ex-WWE World Champion, Match Gets Made

MJF is sick and tired of being criticized by a former WWE World Champion, so a match has been made between them.

As the AEW World Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is a busy man trying to hold onto his title against a number of contenders in AEW.

Outside of AEW, MJF also wrestles in other promotions occasionally because he’s allowed to do so because of the contract he has. While MJF doesn’t wrestle in the indies that often, he will be doing so again soon.

MJF has said in the past that he wants to wrestle former WWE and TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth, who also wrestles on the indies sometimes while working for TNA.

MJF Will Get His Match With Nic Nemeth

In an expletive-filled post on X/Twitter, MJF blasted Nemeth, who co-hosts Busted Open Radio several times per week, because of comments Nemeth made about him on Busted Open.

I’ve been listening to @NicTNemeth trashing me through veiled “advice” and “notes” on busted open for months when in reality he’s just sh**ting on me out of jealousy.

This dude actually said I remind him of a younger Dolph Ziggler.

lol. I don’t remember ever being an overhyped mid carder.

This dude is delusional. This dude is jealous. And most importantly this dude should keep my name out of his f**king mouth.

I’m the most complete professional wrestler in the world. you couldn’t lace my boots or carry my mic.

Say my name again on your little show and I’ll beat the f**king s**t out of you.

In the meantime I’m gonna focus on my world title defense against “The God” Kenny Omega at Dynasty.

Cuz I only face the best of the best.

It was about three hours later when MJF revealed that Create A Pro had booked the first-ever Friedman-Nemeth match on May 1st. Create A Pro is owned by TNA’s Brian Myers, and it’s where MJF trained to wrestle. Myers works with Nemeth in TNA and worked with him in WWE when Myers was known as Curt Hawkins.

As for his next AEW World Title defense, MJF will defend “Triple B” against Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty on April 12th.
