MJF’s AEW Dynamite Match Called Off After Attack

MJF might be the AEW World Champion but he does not have his troubles to seek in the company as everyone, including the Devil himself, is after him.

MJF has been targetted by someone wearing his Devil mask in recent weeks with mystery surrounding who exactly is after the champion and who are the goons that have been attacking people under his watch.

Samoa Joe has become entangled in things as he stepped in to replace Adam Cole as MJF defended the ROH Tag Team Championship at Full Gear, but only on the condition that Joe would get an AEW World Title shot in the future. Samoa Joe vs. MJF is set for Worlds End and Joe has vowed to protect MJF until then to make sure that match takes place.

MJF had accepted a challenge from the Devil for two of his henchmen to face Joe and MJF on Dynamite in Montreal but that bout never took place.

MJF Suffers Vicious Attack Backstage

MJF had exchanged words with Hangman Adam Page earlier in the night but when it came time for his match, he wouldn’t make it to the ring. Samoa Joe made his entrance when he was surrounded by the Devil’s goons before the Devil appeared on screen. MJF was then seen laid out on the concrete with a broken glass bottle around him beside his AEW World Title.

Where the story goes with the Devil and the AEW World Champion remains to be seen with several suspects in the frame.
