MJF & Adam Cole Defending ROH Tag Team Titles At AEW All Out
The new ROH Tag Team Champions, MJF & Adam Cole, will defend their titles at the upcoming AEW All Out pay-per-view.
At AEW All In London last Sunday night, there was a big title match on the Zero Hour Pre-Show.
That match saw Aussie Open’s Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher defend the Ring of Honor Tag Team Titles against Maxwell Jacob Friedman & Adam Cole. Unfortunately for Aussie Open, Cole & MJF have done very well as a team and picked up the win to become the new ROH Tag Team Champions.
It was an interesting situation because MJF and Adam Cole were also opponents at AEW All In London with Max successfully retaining his championship over Cole. It was a very close match that wasn’t particularly clean, but MJF found a way to remain the champion yet again.
MJF & Adam Cole Making First Title Defense at AEW All Out
On AEW Dynamite in Chicago, a video was shown of MJF & Adam Cole talking in the dressing room after their match at All In. While there, they mentioned that their first ROH Tag Team Title defense will take place this Sunday, September 3rd at All Out from the United Center in Chicago. At All Out, MJF & Cole will defend the titles against whoever wins a tag team battle royal on Rampage.
This week’s episode of Rampage will air on Friday night on TNT. Rampage was taped after Dynamite, but this is a spoiler-free zone in terms of results.
Adam Cole did an in-ring promo on Dynamite that was interrupted by Roderick Strong and The Kingdom’s Matt Taven & Mike Bennett.
As for MJF, he wasn’t on Dynamite this week because he said he needed a break, so he spent some time traveling in France before his championship match at All Out this Sunday night.
