Joe Hendry’s WWE future is on the Raw brand after a successful run in NXT.

Following his run in TNA Wrestling, which saw him become a breakout star and eventually the TNA World Champion, Joe Hendry officially joined the WWE NXT roster in late 2025.

On the February 3rd edition of WWE NXT, Joe Hendry became the face of the NXT brand, at least for a few months, as the new NXT Champion after winning a 7-man Ladder Match.

Hendry’s NXT Title reign lasted 59 days, which is right around two months, because he lost the title at the NXT Stand & Deliver PLE in April. Tony D’Angelo became the first-time NXT Champion by winning a 4-way match that also included Ethan Page and Ricky Saints.

Now that WrestleMania 42 is in the past, some NXT wrestlers have already moved to the main roster, including Ethan Page and Sol Ruca. Joe Hendry is set to join them since he’s advertised for a concert on Raw on April 27th.

The future of Joe Hendry appears to be on the WWE Raw brand, according to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select.

Regarding Joe Hendry and Monday Night Raw, we are told his placement is now official as he joins the Raw brand and says goodbye to NXT after just a few short months. Back in December, it was widely speculated that SmackDown would be the eventual home for the charismatic superstar.

However creative over the past few weeks has landed him on Raw with an eye towards inserting him in the upper mid card imminently. So, TC, a lot of people going back a year ago or so couldn’t wait for Joe Hendry to get here. He became an official WWE Superstar a few months back, spent some time in NXT. Now he’s going to make his home on Monday Night Raw. What’s the ceiling for him?

That led to TC of Wrestlevotes to make the point that perhaps Hendry could have a WWE run similar to LA Knight, who is also a popular babyface wrestler.

Well, we’ve already seen him capture the NXT Championship for a short little period of time. I don’t expect him to win any major championships on the main roster of the World Heavyweight or WWE, so definitely a ceiling at that level. Could I see him win a U.S. Title or an Intercontinental championship? I think you could, but I kind of see like a similar sort of situation with LA Knight… where he’s a guy a lot of people are going to clamor for, is not getting the opportunities that he should… I’m sure you’re going to get a few of these concerts.

As we see coming up on Raw this coming Monday night, we’ll have a concert from Joe Hendry as his entrance in his debut on Raw.

Joe Hendry Lost What Was Likely Final NXT Match

On the April 21st episode of WWE NXT, Joe Hendry lost what was likely his final NXT match before the move to the main roster. It was a dominant win by Keanu Carver over Hendry, as Carver hit Hendry with repeated forearms and Hendry was knocked out.

There were some interesting comments by Vic Joseph on commentary since he said Hendry was looking to get into the NXT title picture again. However, it appears as though he’s heading to Raw now.
