Major Update On WWE Star Liv Morgan’s Drug Arrest

Liv Morgan WWE

Liv Morgan was facing drug charges in recent weeks but now it looks like her legal troubles are now behind her.

Liv Morgan was arrested on Thursday, December 15th in Sumter County, Florida after a traffic stop. Morgan was arrested for possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams), possession of drug equipment, and possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoids.

The arrest took place at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 14th when Morgan’s yellow jeep was crossing over the white and yellow lines of a County Road, so a sheriff’s deputy pulled her over.

A search of Morgan’s vehicle revealed a “small plastic bag containing marijuana” and a vape pen that held “an oil-like substance.” That substance was tested and proven to be marijuana.

PWInsider has now reported that the criminal case against Morgan was closed on the 6th of February. A plea of Nolo Contendere had been entered by Morgan’s lawyer on the 31st of January. The report notes Morgan had a fine imposed on her but court records only show an assessment of $543 and no additional fines.

Liv Morgan Returns To WWE Ring

Liv Morgan was out of action due to injury at the time of her arrest. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion was injured in a tag team match on the 17th of July 2023 edition of Raw when Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville defeated Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Morgan returned to action as the surprise 30th entrant in the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble. Morgan eliminated Jade Cargill before being immediately sent crashing to the floor by the match-winner Bayley.
