Logan Paul On Risky WWE Spot: “I Thought I Broke My Ribs”
Logan Paul has a reputation for performing high-flying, risky moves inside the WWE ring.
He performed one such dangerous maneuver at SummerSlam 2025 that left the entire WWE Universe shocked and concerned for him.
Logan Paul teamed up with Drew McIntyre to face Randy Orton and country music artist Jelly Roll in a tag team match at the Biggest Party of the Summer last year. This rivalry started when Logan Paul interrupted Jelly Roll’s concert on an episode of SmackDown in July 2025.
Paul insulted Jelly Roll, who, in turn, was defended by Randy Orton. This led to a brawl where Drew McIntyre attacked Orton from behind, and Jelly Roll got physically involved with Paul. During the SummerSlam match, the fans saw Paul perform a Frog Splash from the top rope and land on Jelly Roll, who was lying flat on the announcer’s table.
Logan Paul’s Risky SummerSlam Spot “Hurt” Very Much
Paul discussed the impact of the risky SummerSlam spot on the latest episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast. He said that since he took the bump on top of the announcer’s table, it hurt a lot worse than it usually does when a wrestler takes a bump on a table or the mat.
Paul added that he felt he had broken his ribs as he was heaving heavily after executing the move. He even doubted whether he would complete the match. Fortunately, he was okay and won the match for his team by pinning Jelly Roll.
Paul said:
“Jelly Roll, landing on him hurt like a motherf**ker. When you do a splash on the table or on the mat, the way the physics work is your bodies cup each other and you both take a little bit of the impact, along with the floor.
“When I landed on Jelly Roll through the table, I only landed on Jelly Roll. So my chest took all of the impact. I thought I broke my ribs. There’s videos of me heaving, I thought I broke my ribs, I wasn’t sure if I was going to complete the match.”
