Liv Morgan Makes Heartbreaking Personal Revelation

Liv Morgan never got to meet her father. He passed away three months before she was born.

During an appearance on the What’s Your Story podcast in January 2026, Morgan shared that her father died suddenly at the kitchen table after suffering a heart attack while her mother and older siblings were present.

Liv Morgan’s Father Was A WWE Fan

Speaking on a recent episode of TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Liv Morgan made a personal revelation, saying that her father was also a WWE fan like her.

She only discovered this a couple of years after starting her WWE career, and learning that gave her a special connection to him that she never had before:

I didn’t know that my dad was a WWE fan until like a couple years into my career. My brothers just never really shared that info with me.

So, I became such a WWE fan at such a young age and kind of knew that at some point in my life I would make it to WWE, and that was something that I just felt so strongly about.

So to find out, you know, a couple years into my career that my dad also loved WWE so much, and you know, watching WWE was such like an important thing in my household, was cool to learn just because uh I didn’t know that, and it just made me feel like another connection to him that I didn’t have before. After her father’s passing, Liv Morgan’s mother was left to raise six children on her own, and the family grew up in poverty and chaos.

When Morgan first saw wrestling on television at the age of 5, she promised herself to become a WWE wrestler and help support her family. Years later, she went on to fulfill that promise.
