What Liv Morgan Really Thinks Of Finn Balor’s Huge WWE Title Shot
Liv Morgan has shared her honest opinion of Finn Balor lining up a huge title shot on WWE Raw.
The January 12th edition of Raw saw the World Heavyweight Title picture take a fresh new twist as one star got a reality check.
The Judgment Day have been in a relative state of turmoil since Finn Balor tried to stir the pot by recruiting Roxanne Perez into the group. Things have gotten even worse more recently, with Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh ruled out of action.
Liv Morgan caught Finn Balor happy playing video games in the group’s clubhouse on Raw and finally had enough. After giving him some home truths, it appeared Balor had a plan all along. Later in the night, he confronted World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, challenging him to a title match on the following week’s show in Belfast.
Liv Morgan Wants Success For Finn Balor
Speaking on the Raw Recap, Liv Morgan shared how she felt about Balor taking the step up and said she was glad to light a fire under the star:
It’s good because all we want for Finn, we all want to succeed. My success is just as important as Roxanne’s, just as important Finn’s, just as important as JD’s, just as important as Raquel’s, just as important as Dominik’s. All our successes are equally as important.
To see Finn go from NXT Champion, Tag Team Champion, United States Champion, World Champion, Grand Slam Champion to playing video games, not even watching our segments, not even watching us go out, on behalf of the Judgment Day, because Judgment Day runs Monday Night Raw.
So yeah, seeing Finn sitting there being fine playing video games as we’re chasing gold, Raquel’s chasing gold, JD’s injured, Dominik’s injured. Yeah, it was a little bit odd to see him be okay with just playing video games, so I had to say something, and I’m glad that I did because look, he went out there less than ten minutes later and took initiative.
We just want the best for him, and that’s the Finn Balor that we deserve.
We watch everyone’s stuff, we sit there like ‘woo!’, you know what I mean? So to come back like ‘Finn did you watch?’ he’s like ‘huh? I’m just playing as myself on 2k.’ It was just like okay brother, how about we stick together and get back to the Finn Balor that said he would carry the Judgment Day on his back, that wanted championship gold, where’s that Finn Balor? And I do believe that is the Finn Balor we are about to see. [h/t WrestleTalk]
