Former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley is set to travel outside the United States to headline an anniversary show.

Toward the end of October, Moxley, who has his mind set on securing the IWGP Championship, will be heading to the UK and Ireland to work two main event matches.

On Saturday 28th October OTT wrestling is celebrating its ninth anniversary with Jon Moxley set to head up a stacked card at the National Stadium in Dublin.

The night before, Moxely will battle former NXT UK Superstar Trent Seven in Wolverhampton, England as the Midlands-born Brit will be looking to secure a huge win.

Over The Top Wrestling was founded in 2014 as an alternative to family-friendly wrestling events in Ireland. OTT aimed to bring a more adult-focused style of action.

During the past nine years the company has hosted hardcore legend Mick Foley, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, former AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter, and Will Ospreay.

Jon Moxley was scheduled to appear for OTT in February 2020 but the companies ScrapperMania 6 event was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Earlier this year, Moxley had to cancel being at this year’s ScrapperMania due to the date clashing with AEW House Rules, so fans in Dublin will be hoping its third time lucky for the former WWE Champion.

Wembley Could See Elite Battle For Jon Moxley

Moxley will have the opportunity to prepare for the OTT crowd reactions as AEW head over to London in two weeks for All In.

The event will see Wembley Stadium host Professional Wrestling for the first time since WWE SummerSlam 1992 and is set to be a sell out.

Jon Moxley and his fellow Blackpool Combat Club members have had their hands full with The Elite over recent months, as the group have targeted Kenny Omega, Adam Page, and The Young Bucks.

Following defeat at Forbidden Door, BCC could look to use All In as the ideal opportunity to gain some revenge.

Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli recently teamed to defeat Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix on AEW Dynamite and will be keeping their eye on any opportunity to be back in either the single or tag team Championship picture.
