Johnny Gargano Appears On IMPACT Wrestling

Former WWE Superstar Johnny Gargano made an unexpected appearance on the July 28th edition of IMPACT Wrestling.

Johnny Gargano last wrestled at NXT WarGames on December 5th. On the following episode of NXT 2.0, the made an emotional address, saying farewell to the fans who had supported him since he joined the company in 2015.

Only days after that appearance, Gargano’s contract expired. While the star has since said that he always planned to become to have time off for the birth of his first child, speculation has been rampant on where he will turn up next.

The July 28th episode of IMPACT Wrestling featured a surprise appearance from the former NXT Champion. Gargano appeared as part of a video package – which also included fellow former WWE star KUSHIDA – praising longtime friend Alex Shelley, who will clash with Josh Alexander for the IMPACT World Championship at their Emergence event.

Interestingly, this was the first time Johnny Wrestling had ever appeared for IMPACT despite having been in the wrestling business for over 15 years.
