Jade Cargill Brings The Storm To WWE Royal Rumble

Jade Cargill

Many fans have wondered when they’d see Jade Cargill in a WWE ring and at the Royal Rumble they got their answer.

The wrestling world was stunned when WWE announced the signing of Jade Cargill in September 2023. Before joining her new home, Cargill had been a major part of AEW’s women’s division where she held the TBS Championship for a massive 508 days, making her the longest-reigning champion in Tony Khan’s company’s history.

Jade Cargill has made clear she knows which brand her WWE future is on but has kept fans guessing by making appearances on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT early in her career in the company but in recent months she has not been seen. But now business has picked up.

Jade Cargill Roared On By Packed WWE Crowd

Jade Cargill entered the women’s Royal Rumble at number 28 and immediately came face-to-face with Nia Jax. Jax had dominated but Cargill brought Tropicana Field to its feet by picking the star up and dumping her over the top rope.

Cargill eliminated both Becky Lynch and Naomi before she made it to the final three when she was eliminated by Liv Morgan.

It remains to be seen if Cargill’s appearance was only for the Rumble or if she will be part of the action on one of WWE’s three brands immediately going forward. However, if her reaction from the fans was anything to go by, the company might want to get on TV regularly as soon as possible.
