It was a night to forget for one former WWE star as their first match out of the company ended prematurely thanks to an injury.

WWE recently released several main roster stars, including Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, and Shayna Baszler. These were followed by departures from the NXT roster with the likes of Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin, Gallus, and Dani Palmer all let go.

Gigi Dolin fired back at reports WWE released stars for being lazy, and she was quick to make moves for her post-WWE future as a match was announced pitting her against her real-life fiancé, TNA star Zachary Wentz.

Post-WWE Match Ends In Injury For Priscilla Kelly

That match took place on Wrestling Revolver’s Cage of Horrors show, and the night turned into a horror show for Gigi Dolin, who now competes under her previous wrestling name, Priscilla Kelly.

That match had to be stopped due to an injury to Kelly’s knee, and taking to social media, she’s now revealed exactly what went wrong:

My patella came out of place. It does that from time to time. It’s an anatomy issue I’ve had my whole life, and I’ve managed to always work through it, even sometimes continuing matches after it happens. It’s not an “injury”, it just hurts a good bit and I have to “pop” it back in place. Now ya know. Sorry, guys.
