Huge Backstage Update On Brock Lesnar’s Retirement After WWE WrestleMania 42 Moment
Brock Lesnar’s seeming retirement at WrestleMania 42 may have caught WWE officials by surprise.
The Beast Incarnate returned after a few months of absence to issue an open challenge for this year’s Show of Shows. Oba Femi quickly accepted Lesnar’s challenge. He even dropped him down multiple times on Monday Night RAW.
Tonight at WrestleMania, The Ruler shockingly squashed The Beast Incarnate, proving himself as The Next Big Thing. After the match, Lesnar appeared extremely emotional as he took off his boots and gloves, seemingly signaling his retirement. He hugged Paul Heyman, waved to the fans, and left.
WWE Expected Brock Lesnar To Retire At SummerSlam
According to a recent report from Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar’s moment at WrestleMania may not have been expected by many WWE officials. Instead, they anticipated the former WWE Champion to hang up his boots later this year at SummerSlam.
It remains unclear whether plans changed ahead of this year’s Show of Shows or Lesnar decided to call it a career on the spot.
