Handcuffs Are Off As WWE Hall Of Famer Closes On Return
A WWE Hall of Famer is sharpening up as they prepare to return.
On December 6th it was announced that Jesse Ventura will be returning to WWE. The veteran will be reprising his role at the commentary desk for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th.
The special will be headlined by Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Championship when it returns for the first time since 2008.
Ventura began his wrestling career in the mid-1970s but it was with the WWF in the 80s that he made his name. Once out of the ring, the star reveled in the role of heel commentator working on the first six WrestleManias while co-hosting Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Jesse Ventura Excited By WWE Return
Speaking to Bill Simmons on the Bill Simmons Podcast, Ventura said he’ll be appearing on all four Saturday Night’s Main Event specials during the year.
“Handcuffs are off, I can say anything I want about anyone. I am, I’m very excited about it. I don’t discuss finances, but it’s acceptable and I’ll be doing four a year,”
Shortly after the announcement, Ventura appeared in the crowd on the December 6th edition of SmackDown.
