Ex-WWE Star Left Heartbroken Over Scrapped WrestleMania Plans
A former WWE star revealed her scrapped WrestleMania plans.
Scarlett Bordeaux and Karrion Kross worked for the WWE for several years. They started in NXT, where Karrion dominated as the brand’s top champion. After moving to the main roster, Karrion Kross’ booking took a major hit. He was often booked to lose before he was eventually released from the company.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux made their WWE return under the Triple H regime. This time, they formed a faction with the Authors of Pain called the Final Testament. They were involved in a long feud with The Pride, which included Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits, in 2024. These two factions finally met in a Six-Man Tag Team Philadelphia Street Fight at WrestleMania 40. It was Bobby Lashley’s who emerged victorious.
Former WWE star Scarlett Bordeaux revealed she was supposed to be a part of that WrestleMania match
During an interview with Denise Salcedo, Scarlett Bordeaux revealed that she and B-Fab were originally supposed to be a part of that WrestleMania 40 match. She even recalled telling her husband, Karrion Kross, the previous night that she was afraid WWE would take the match away from her, which ended up happening.
“B-Fab and I were actually supposed to be part of that WrestleMania match. We were supposed to actually wrestle, not just manage. We still got to do some really cool stuff. You know, got put through a table at Mania, which was great. But yeah, we were supposed to be part of that match originally, and we were excited. And I remember this year, and I was crying about it that night when we found out that we were supposed to be in the match. And I was crying, telling Kevin, ‘what if I get excited about this and they take it away? I’m really, really afraid to be excited about this right now.’ And they did. And I just remember just kind of going numb. I’m like, ‘Just accept it.’ You can only spend so much time like fighting and being angry, but maybe, maybe I should have been fighting more.”
Scarlett credited Chelsea Green for making her realize that she has to fight for what she wants. The former WWE star also expressed gratitude for the fact that she can still do what she loves to do.
“I do give credit to Chelsea Green. She said every single thing she’s done, she’s fought for it. I give her so much credit because maybe, maybe I could have fought more, maybe. But I’m so grateful for the time I’ve had there, the fact that I am healthy and we are performing and traveling everywhere. Like, I feel like there is something I did right, the fact that I am still doing this and happy doing it. But looking back on it, it’s hard to say if I would change anything. It’s hard.”
It remains to be seen what’s next for Scarlett Bordeaux.
