Ex-WWE Star Fandango Officially Gets Married
Fandango, real name Curtis Hussey, has tied the knot.
He signed with the Stamford promotion in 2006, but only debuted on the main roster in 2013.
During this period, he worked with Deep South Wrestling (DSW) developmental territory, and after WWE severed ties with the promotion, he joined Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).
Fandango wrestled on NXT from 2010 to 2012, where he became a 1-time NXT Tag Team Champion with Tyler Breeze.
However, his debut on SmackDown in 2013 as ballroom dancer Fandango is what earned him laurels. He began a feud with Chris Jericho, even securing an upset victory at WrestleMania 29.
While he did not win any championships on the main roster, he was one of the over superstars.
After a disappointing couple of years, he associated with his NXT tag team partner to form Breezango, reviving his popularity with the WWE Universe.
In 2020, he returned to NXT and remained there until his release in 2021, ending his 15-year stint with the promotion.
Fandango is currently signed with Total Nonstop Action (TNA) as Johnny “Dango” Curtis or JDC.
The 42-year-old former WWE talent took to social media and announced the new chapter in his life by sharing a few photos from the occasion.
