Ex-World Champion Shockingly Annihilates CM Punk On WWE RAW
The main event of WWE RAW tonight saw a mouth-watering clash between AJ Styles and CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship as Punk put his title on the line for a third time this month.
He had already overcome challenges from Bron Breakker and Finn Balor in the previous few weeks, including defeating Balor in front of his own Irish people in Belfast, Northern Ireland, last week.
Following their match last week, the two shared a moment of respect with each other, hinting at a face turn for the former Universal Champion, but Liv Morgan called him out tonight.

Balor looked to enter the Royal Rumble to earn another shot at the title, but was informed by Adam Pearce that all the spots for the Rumble have been filled. With no chance to enter the Rumble, and Morgan’s words ringing in his ear, Balor embraced his dark side once again.
He interrupted Punk’s match with AJ Styles, ending it in a no contest and unleashing a brutal attack on the World Heavyweight Champion. He hit a couple of shotgun dropkicks on the champ, both inside on the outside, hitting him with one on the barricade as well.

Following that, he further attacked Punk by hitting him with three Coup de Graces as he stood tall in the ring as Monday Night RAW went off the air.
