Eddie Guerrero’s daughter recently decided to pursue a career in pro wrestling.
Eddie Guerrero’s youngest daughter, Sherilyn Guerrero, kicked off her wrestling journey at the age of 30. She enrolled at Booker T’s wrestling school, Reality of Wrestling, in Texas in late 2025.
Until now, Sherilyn had stayed away from the pro wrestling business, and for years, she avoided getting involved in the same industry her father was part of. However, she now feels ready to carry forward the Guerrero legacy.
Eddie Guerrero’s Daughter Says God Led Her To Pursue Wrestling
Eddie Guerrero’s daughter, Sherilyn, recently spoke in an interview with MuscleManMalcom on Muscle Memory, where she was asked why she waited so long to enter the wrestling world.
She explained that she believes it was all God’s plan. Despite being scared to get into the business, she feels she was guided toward wrestling at the right time.
I will one just say that I feel like God has always brought me around wrestling. And I think that when you kind of let go and let God and have that mustard seed of faith kind of just flourish, it brings where you’re always supposed to go. And it’s brought me here.
And I feel like the support to everything that’s been aligned has really been great. And I think it’s just time for me to hone in as someone that I’ve always kind of been scared to hone into in the most humble way. You know, my dad kept us so humble. So, finally coming out into it, it’s nice. I’m grateful. (From 5:05)
In another interview in 2025, Sherilyn also spoke about a pivotal meeting with Roman Reigns and other wrestlers. That moment helped her realize that wrestling runs in her blood.
She said the encouragement she received from Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio, and Dominik Mysterio convinced her that the timing was finally right to step into the wrestling business.
