Drew McIntyre Makes Bold Prediction About Karrion Kross’ Future
Karrion Kross has a big-name supporter in the form of Drew McIntyre.
Despite claims that their departures are part of a storyline, Karrion Kross and Scarlett have returned to the independent scene in recent weeks.
Following the expiration of their contracts, the duo left WWE on August 10 and quickly looked to rebuild their careers.
In the days after leaving the company, Karrion Kross confirmed that he was offered a new contract, but this offer was quickly rescinded. He explained that when he asked to see analytics to see how the company came to its offer, he was told he had 24 hours to sign the contract or it would be withdrawn.
The following day, when he said he couldn’t sign without the information he requested, the deal was taken off the table.
Drew McIntyre Is A Big Fan Of Karrion Kross
During an interview with Adam Glyn for Adam’s Apple, McIntyre was asked for his reaction to the departures of Kross and Scarlett, and it’s fair to say he’s unconcerned. The Scottish star said he knows the pair very well and knows they’ll land on their feet because they know what they’re doing.
“I know Kross well, very talented. Scarlett, and no matter what they do, they’re gonna land on their feet. I don’t have to give them advice. They know exactly what they’re doing.”
Although he was feeling positive about the prospects of Kross and Scarlett, McAintyre warned that everyone needs to work harder and leave no stone unturned.
“For everybody else, it’s just you’ve got to keep putting the work in. You’ve got to find what separates you from everybody else, as long as you’re working your ass off, and leaving no stone unturned, have been accountable to yourself, to the person in the mirror, don’t worry about social [media], but use social well. Take everybody on your particular journey. That’s what I do.”
On the August 29 edition of SmackDown, McIntyre continued with feud with Randy Orton as the pair wound up in another wild brawl. This brought out several officials to break up the fight, but as McIntyre escaped the ring, Orton delivered an RKO to Shane Helms out of sheer frustration.
There had been rumours that Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton would be added to Clash In Paris, but that hasn’t proven to be the case. Instead, The Wyatt Sicks vs. The Street Profits has taken the sixth and final spot on the card.
