Drew McIntyre Pulled From Advertising For Major WWE Show

Drew McIntyre

The WWE future of Drew McIntyre remains in some doubt and the omens may not be good for fans of the star as he is no longer being advertised for the company’s huge return to the UK.

In 2022, Drew McIntyre was front and center for the first stadium show in the UK in 30 years when Clash at the Castle emanated from Cardiff, Wales. The Scottish star was roared on by over 60,000 fans in the main event where he challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Unfortunately, McIntyre met the same fate as those before and after him in challenging Reigns as he became the first man to feel the wrath of the enforcer Solo Sikoa who ensured The Tribal Chief remained champion.

WWE is returning to the UK this summer and for the first time ever bringing Money In The Bank to London, England at the O2 Arena. Drew McIntyre had previously been featured as one of the six stars on WWE’s site to promote the show but that is no longer the case. Instead, McIntyre has been replaced by Roman Reigns who wasn’t previously thought to be heading across the pond for the show.

This comes at a time when Drew McIntyre’s WWE future is the subject of much debate. Reports have suggested that McIntyre – whose contract with the company is believed to be up around the end of the year – is not happy with either cash or creative that is being offered as part of a new deal. The star is currently dealing with injury issues following WrestleMania but when he will return to television remains unknown.

While the card is always subject to change, the six stars WWE are currently using to promote Money In The Bank are Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch.
