R-Truth and Damian Priest defeated Tama Tonga and J.C Mateo of the MFTs this past Friday on SmackDown and became new WWE Tag-Team Champions.
The MFTs were distracted by members of the Wyatt Sicks, with whom they’ve been feuding for months now. Solo Sikoa and Co. are currently in possession of the sacred lantern that belongs to the Watt Sicks and have tried everything in their power to hang on to it.
When Mateo went back to the match after helping Sikoa hang on to the lantern following a brawl that broke out between the Wyatt Sicks members and the MFT members on the ramp, R-Truth and Damian Priest took advantage, and Truth landed the Attitude Adjustment on Mateo and pinned him to win his team the titles.
Ivar Teases War Raiders Match With R-Truth And Damian Priest
The new WWE Tag Team Champions may have their work cut out for them immediately upon winning gold, as the entire locker room of tag teams is going to be looking at them as targets.
