Many WWE stars and commentators have struggled to pronounce Stephanie Vaquer’s last name, and Cody Rhodes has now joined that list.

During a segment of Monday Night Raw in June 2025, Hall of Famer Nikki Bella mistakenly mispronounced Vaquer’s last name. Bella later addressed the slip-up on her podcast, explaining that she wanted to give the name a more Latin presence but got nervous, which led to the mistake.

On an August 2025 episode of Raw, Naomi also referred to Vaquer incorrectly, calling her different variations of her name in a mocking tone. Even commentators such as Michael Cole and Wade Barrett have mispronounced Vaquer’s last name on multiple occasions.

Cody Rhodes Hypes Up Upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE

Cody Rhodes appeared on ESPN’s Get Up ahead of the upcoming Elimination Chamber event to promote the show. During the conversation, Rhodes also made a pronunciation mistake and ended up botching Stephanie Vaquer’s name, adding himself to the growing list of WWE personalities who have struggled with it.

I mean, we’re officially on the road to WrestleMania. WrestleMania and Las Vegas, which will be the biggest it’s ever been. This one, all the marbles, all the chips. It’s been unpredictable. Right now, we just have Roman Reigns versus Punk.

Liv Morgan versus Stephanie Vaquer (he says Vakor). The big, big, big, big time main event for the other night. It’s up in the air. You’ll see it at the elimination. (From 4:37)

Stephanie will not be part of this year’s Elimination Chamber, but she will defend her Women’s World Championship against Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
