Cody Rhodes Responds To Liv Morgan’s Controversial Claim

Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan are set to be a part of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

The American Nightmare will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against the recently turned heel Randy Orton. Meanwhile, the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at the Showcase of the Immortals.

It was recently announced that Liv Morgan will be the special guest on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast on April 15, 2026, in Las Vegas, ahead of their scheduled matches at WrestleMania.

While promoting her appearance on the podcast, Liv Morgan claimed that she can puff out more smoke from her cigar than Cody Rhodes. Reacting to Liv’s tweet, Rhodes responded that if that’s the case, he will bring cigars to the interview.

Liv Morgan tweeted, “I bet I can puff more smoke out of my cigar than Cody”

Cody replied, “I’ll bring the cigars @YaOnlyLivvOnce”

Cody Rhodes is a well-known cigar enthusiast and has made smoking a cigar his signature celebration for major milestones. It is a tradition he uses to honor his father, Dusty Rhodes, and old-school wrestling culture.

Cody Rhodes Set To Return To WWE SmackDown This Week

On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Cody Rhodes is expected to make his return. During the March 13 edition, Rhodes had a contract signing segment with Randy Orton, where Orton turned heel and brutally attacked him, leaving him bleeding profusely from the head.

Rhodes was absent from last week’s episode of the blue brand following the assault. However, he has been advertised to return this week, and according to a recent report, he may come back with a new, “edgy” character to “fight fire with fire” against Orton.
