There is no heat between The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes let his AEW contract expire in February 2022. Ever since that day, rumours have continually circulated about a strained relationship between The American Nightmare and the other Executive Vice Presidents within the company.

Matters were not helped when Peacock released their “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes” documentary, which heard Rhodes state that he departed All Elite Wrestling because of “a personal issue.” Rhodes has also admitted that the previous job was not easy, as being an EVP burned him out.

Any rumours of ongoing heat have been squashed by Nick Jackson. The EVP posted a series of thank-you messages on his Instagram story following a successful All In show. Among the stars that competed on the show was a poster of the original All In show that took place in 2018, featuring a picture of Rhodes with The Young Bucks. Jackson posted the following statement:

“This doesn’t happen without you. Spoiler alert for the people who say we hate each other. That isn’t true.”

Rhodes has also previously expressed his gratitude the other way, stating that he is very proud of what everyone in All Elite Wrestling has accomplished.

Cody Rhodes & More Thanked By Nick Jackson

Showing his gratitude to everyone who helped make the Wembley Stadium show a huge success, Jackson’s praise extended to main eventers and those who made a one-off appearance. Highlights include calling Will Ospreay “the best wrestler in the world” but not to tell Kenny Omega, being honoured to meet his hero Sting and that Hikaru Shida “deserves her flowers.”
