Cody Rhodes has spoken more about the bus tour that WWE fans can experience during WrestleMania weekend.

It is well known among WWE fans that the 3-time Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes travels by a bus to and from most WWE events, just like many of his fellow top superstars.

Over the last week, it was reported that On Location, WWE’s Official Fan Hospitality Partner, had been promoting the Cody Rhodes Bus Tour package. Here’s what was in the listing.

“Take an unforgettable tour with “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes! This exclusive Cody Rhodes Bus Tour will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the electric atmosphere of WrestleMania, complete with personal stories from Cody himself.

Get a rare glimpse of the production, fan zones, and restricted areas as Cody shares his experiences, inspirations, and mindset leading into WWE’s biggest event of the year. Each guest will receive a limited-edition commemorative item, along with the chance for a brief one-on-one interaction and photo with Cody.”

All of that sounds great for any WWE fan, but the part that got the most attention was that it was listed at $9,950 per person for 12 guests in total.

The Cody Rhodes bus tour sold out, suggesting WWE could have charged even more for it.

Cody Rhodes Gives More Insight Into Bus Tour With WWE Fans

In an interview with Busted Open Radio, Cody Rhodes admitted that having WWE fans visit him on his bus is expensive, but he feels it’s a unique experience.

“We did this tour last year very quietly. And it’s just a sweet On Location deal for the people that want a little bit of that extra moment. What I did last year was very fun, they got to see my WrestleMania gear in advance and we got to talk WrestleMania.”

I’ve got a good plan for them this year, because like you said, that’s an absurd amount of money. And, gosh, thanks for — the fact that people are out there paying that, that makes me feel incredible.

So I want them to definitely feel like they got a unique and cool experience and something intimate for us. Because when you get those moments with your fans where you can sit down across from them and actually get to know them — two of the guys that were on the bus tour last year are actually coming on my podcast.

I wanted to bring a fan onto the podcast to see what that experience was like. We’ve stayed in touch. So I look forward to a whole new motley crew on the bus this year. And thank you for doing that.”

At WrestleMania 42, Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against his former friend, Randy Orton, who recently turned heel on Rhodes. It’s likely the main event of WrestleMania 42 Saturday on April 18th.
