CM Punk’s Status Confirmed For Upcoming AEW Video Game

CM Punk

Despite his fallout with the company, CM Punk is set to still be featured on the AEW: Fight Forever video game.

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding CM Punk’s involvement in AEW: Fight Forever, which many believing that he was going to be removed due to being a part of the All Out pay-per-view backstage brawl between him and The Elite. Sportskeeda, on the other hand, is reporting that’s not true.

The report states that Sportskeeda contacted All Elite Wrestling (AEW) to get some clarity on the status of Punk in the video game. AEW’s response was that if anybody was removed out of the game, they would have announced it. Originally, CM Punk was featured as the cover wrestler of the video game, being the centerpiece with other talent around him such as Jon Moxley, Jade Cargill, Kenny Omega and others. Punk was also involved in the trailer of the game, and heavily at that.

Last month, the cover and trailer for the game was released.

In other news related to AEW: Fight Forever, a marketing sleeve photo for the Nintendo Switch edition of the video game has gone around social media over the past few weeks. The sleeve includes a rating that’s M for Mature, which is cranked up for the T for Teen rating that was advertised previously.
