[Watch] CM Punk’s Reaction To Ex-AEW Champion’s WWE Debut

The World Heavyweight Champion looked impressed by this new WWE star.

Royce Keys (FKA Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW) made his debut in the Stamford-based promotion’s 30-man Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Keys came in at #14 and asserted his dominance by using his powerful offense against the wrestlers in the ring. He also managed to eliminate former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, leaving a mark in his debut.

Bronson Reed of The Vision later eliminated Keys, who is an exciting new prospect for the Stamford-based promotion, and, if his early dominance is anything to go by, fans can probably see him get a main-event push.

CM Punk Meets New WWE Signing Royce Keys Backstage

The World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, was seen meeting up with Keys backstage after his debut.

The Best In The World looked impressed, and the pair shared a hug. This moment was captured in BTS footage of Keys’ debut released by WWE.

Keys then proceeded to announce his arrival, saying, ” Eliminating a former World Champion. Ah, I’m here, I’m here.” (3:53 onwards)
