CM Punk’s Face Covered Up On AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite opened on Wednesday night with footage of The Young Bucks being loaded into an ambulance following a vicious attack.

Hangman Page was on the scene and despite his checkered history with The Young Bucks, he opted to travel with Nick Jackson to the hospital while Don Callis was up to his old tricks as he stopped Kenny Omega from leaving the arena with his friends in light of his bout later in the night with El Hijo del Vikingo.

It was later revealed that the Blackpool Combat Club was behind the attack as the trio’s feud with The Elite escalates after the group stared them down and stopped them from perpetrating a three-on-one attack on Hangman Adam Page the previous week.

However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the scene in the parking lot with The Bucks being taken away featured a production truck in the background. The truck bore the faces of several AEW stars but cardboard boxes were strategically placed to cover up the face of former AEW World Champion CM Punk.

CM Punk has been absent from AEW since getting in a backstage fight with The Elite back at All Out in September 2022. However, the latest report on the situation surrounding Punk suggests he could be “looking to get back in” to the company.
