CM Punk Hints At Wrestling Return

CM Punk

CM Punk is never far from wrestling fans’ thoughts as the rumours continue to build as to whether or not Punk will ever return to the ring for AEW, or possibly elsewhere.

CM Punk made his debut for AEW in August 2021, becoming AEW World Champion at Double Or Nothing in 2022 but injury hampered that reign. He returned to action in August and then ultimately re-captured the title at All Out. However, that show will forever be overshadowed by what happened afterward.

CM Punk was caught up in an alleged backstage fight with The Elite which saw all four men stripped of their respective titles and suspended from the company. The Elite has since returned to action while Punk’s future looks increasingly uncertain.

Rumours persist about CM Punk’s future with some even suggesting that he could make a sensational return to WWE if his contract situation with AEW is resolved. However, it doesn’t look like that would be universally appreciated.

Punk has been out of action due to an injury suffered in his All Out match against Jon Moxley but now he has poured gasoline on the fire of speculation with his latest Instagram stories where he is seen working out to Hatebreed track “Honor Never Dies.” This had led some to believe that Punk is hinting about a future in the Tony Khan-owned Ring of Honor.
