Major Clue Allegedly Proves Triple H & The Rock Have Real-Life Heat
Triple H and The Rock supposedly have backstage heat, and that has been attributed as the reason why The Final Boss hasn’t been on WWE TV since Elimination Chamber.
It so happens that The Final Boss wanted Cody Rhodes to turn heel, and when the idea was turned down, John Cena’s heel turn emerged as plan B.
The Rock wasn’t even present for SummerSlam 2025, which was not only the first-ever two-night SummerSlam, but also his presence would have pushed forward The Champ’s story.
Triple H and The Rock have real-life heat
John Cena cut a promo burying Rock and potentially turning babyface again. Ideally, The Final Boss should have responded to it by having someone else turn heel on Cena, preferably Cody Rhodes.
While speaking on The Coach and Bro, Vince Russo explained the factor that gave away Triple H and The Brahma Bull have real-life heat.
Coach, if everybody was on the same page, Cena cuts that promo on Rock burying Rock, and Rock does come out at the end of the show with a heel Cody Rhodes. That’s if everybody’s on the same page. You don’t bury Rock without giving TheRock a comeback. He’s not an active wrestler. No, he’s The Rock for crying out loud. You think You think somebody would have went out there and cut a promo on Stone Cold Steve Austin without a receipt? You don’t do that unless there’s heat.
I was ready to give them props because in my mind, Cena is cutting the promo on Rock. Rock’s going to come out. He’s going to give Cody that look. Cody’s going to join The Rock. Now it all makes sense. That did not happen. Which tells you, and you don’t have to believe me and the coach at this point. I really don’t care. It tells you they are not on the same page. Coach, you would have never buried The Rock without a receipt.
It has also been discussed that, despite the alleged issues, The Rock cannot just fire Triple H without having a strategy to replace him.
