Chris Jericho Hails Recent Feud As “One Of The Best In The Business”

Chris Jericho & MJF

Chris Jericho has hailed his year-long rivalry with MJF as “one of the best in the business from the last 20 years.”

Jericho’s comments come after the feud finally came to an end at AEW All Out. Heading into the show Jericho appeared backed into a corner after falling short during the ‘Labours of Jericho.’

While the former WWE Superstar managed to overcome Shawn Spears, Wardlow, Nick Gage and Juventud Guerrera, he was ultimately defeated by MJF. However, Jericho was determined to have one more showdown with his rival, offering to put his career on the line in order to get MJF to accept.

At All Out, Jericho finally got the win over MJF he craved, forcing him to submit in the Walls of Jericho.

After clashes in all kinds of matches, in all kinds of cities, with numerous stipulations, Jericho was in reflective mood on social media. Posting on Instagram, The Demo God said the rivalry was one of the best in the business.

“Jericho vs @the_mjf was THE longest storyline of my career…and one of the best. The angle started in Sept of 2020 and it ended last night at one of the greatest PPVs of all time, with the good guy making the bad guy tap out. The angle between the #InnerCircle and #ThePinnacle was full of twists and turns, comedy, tragedy, friendship, betrayal, blood, bubbly and genuine animosity. But overall, I feel it was a brilliant, expertly told tale that was one of the best in the business from the last 20 years. I hope all of you enjoyed watching this pro wrestling magnum opus as much we did telling it!!! On to the next challenge….”

During the bout at All Out it appeared that Jericho may have bitten off more than he could chew as his shoulders were pinned to the mat for a three count, despite having his foot on the rope. After a brief exchange between officials, the match restarted enabling Jericho to pick up the win.
