IMPACT Wrestling’s Chelsea Green is reportedly wanted back in WWE under the new regime, having been cut in April 2021.
Chelsea Green may soon return to WWE.
Per WrestleVotes, ‘The Hot Mess’ has “significant interest” from within WWE regarding a potential return. Chelsea had been released in April 2021 after a dire main roster run that failed to get off the ground through injury but should she return, it’s said it will be as part of either the Raw or SmackDown rosters. As it stands, there’s no word on whether an official deal has been offered.
I’m told another name WWE has significant interest in bringing back is Chelsea Green. I would think if a deal is offered, it’s for the main roster. Time will tell.

First signed by WWE in August 2018, Chelsea Green was assigned to the WWE Performance Center, officially debuting that October. She suffered a broken wrist while at tapings for her NXT television debut in March 2019, again breaking it when debuting on Smackdown in November 2020. She was released before ever returning from injury.
Chelsea has been back with IMPACT Wrestling since returning at Slammiversary 2021. A reign as Knockouts World Tag Team Champion alongside VXT partner Deonna Purrazzo began in August, concluding recently at IMPACT’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view. She wrestled during the subsequent television tapings, which may end up being her last date for IMPACT.
It’s believed she’s been working for the Anthem-helmed promotion without a contract in place, leaving her open for a WWE return.
