Chaos Breaks Out Over The Women’s Championship As WWE NXT Goes Off Air
The NXT Women’s Championship picture is heating up on the black-and-silver brand as Lola Vice has multiple major stars are circling her to try and take the belt off of her.
Vice defeated Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey in a triple threat match at NXT Stand and Deliver to become the new NXT Women’s Champion and has since defended the title against Jacy in singles action as well, in her last match on the promotion.
Ever since Jayne moved up to the main roster, multiple other women have been trying to get a shot at the title. Kelani Jordan, who was involved in a rivalry with Vice at the beginning of the year, wrestled with Grey in the main event tonight to get one step closer to the title.
Grey and Jordan were involved in a hard-hitting affair, which left both women reeling in the ring before some commotion was heard backstage. Izzi Dame, who has been after Vice in the last few weeks, attacked the champion backstage as she had her eyes on the match.
Lola Vice has a lot of challengers for her NXT Women’s Title
Meanwhile, Grey had bested Jordan after being dominated for most of the match and looked to hit a top rope maneuver to finish off the match. However, before she could, the brawl between Dame and Vice reached the ringside.
The two women were brawling down the ramp, and Vice hit Dame with a Pump Kick, which inadvertently knocked an already injured Wrenn Sinclair down, distracting Grey.
Jordan took advantage of the situation and attacked Grey’s knee to make her fall before hitting a Split-Legged Moonsault on Grey for the win. Following the match, as Grey checked on Wrenn Sinclair, when Lola also made her way out to the ring again.
She came to check on Wrenn as well, but got into an argument with Kendal, leading to a tussle between them. Their tussle was interrupted by Izzi Dame, who once again attacked Lola from behind to knock her out and pose with the NXT Women’s Title.
