Adam Pearce Sets Up Huge Championship Match For WWE Raw After Royal Rumble
The WWE Royal Rumble 2026 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on January 31, 2026. The following episode of Monday Night Raw will air live from the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on Monday, February 2, 2026, and it will feature Stephanie Vaquer defending her championship.
Vaquer had been absent from WWE after suffering an ankle injury earlier this month. She made her return at Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24, where she attacked Raquel Rodriguez, helping Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez.
This week on Monday Night Raw from Toronto, Canada, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, and Stephanie Vaquer teamed up against their common enemies, The Judgment Day members Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez, in a six-woman tag team match.

The babyfaces picked up the victory, but the chaos continued afterward, as Vaquer and Rodriguez brawled at ringside. Later in the show, Rodriguez demanded a title shot during an interview with Byron Saxton. Shortly after, Vaquer was shown approaching WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and asking him to book a match against Rodriguez.
Pearce agreed and officially booked a one-on-one showdown for the WWE Raw episode following the Royal Rumble. The match will take place under Philadelphia Street Fight rules, with Stephanie Vaquer putting her championship on the line.

Raquel Rodriguez has already challenged Stephanie Vaquer twice for the Women’s World Championship. Their first encounter took place in a one-on-one match on Raw, which ended in a no-contest after Nikki Bella interfered.
The following week, they faced off again in a triple-threat match that also included Nikki Bella, and once again, Stephanie managed to retain her title. As the saying goes, the third time’s the charm, but will that hold true for Raquel when she challenges Stephanie on WWE Raw next week? Only time will tell.
